Who we are
Corporate Recharge is a Zimbabwean software platform that automates corporate airtime and data management across Econet, NetOne, and Telecel. This policy applies to customers who use our platform and to visitors of corporaterecharge.com.
What data we collect
From customer companies:
- Company name, billing contact, and funding account details.
- Employee records uploaded by you — typically name, mobile number, network, department, and airtime allowance.
- Transactional data: every recharge processed through the platform.
- Authentication data: email addresses and hashed passwords for your admin users.
From website visitors:
- Aggregate, anonymised traffic data (pages viewed, referrer, browser, country). We do not track individuals across the web.
- Contact details you voluntarily submit via email or a demo request.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the service you signed up for (the primary reason).
- To produce billing and audit records.
- To diagnose and fix errors in the platform.
- To communicate with you about the platform — billing, outages, material changes.
We do not sell your data. We do not share customer employee records with third parties except the mobile networks themselves, which is necessary to actually process recharges.
Where your data lives
Customer data is stored on managed Postgres infrastructure hosted in the European Union (DigitalOcean Frankfurt). Backups are encrypted at rest. Transport is encrypted end-to-end via TLS 1.3, and database access is row-level-security hardened.
How long we keep data
- Active account data — for the lifetime of your account.
- Transaction records — retained for seven years after account closure for audit and regulatory purposes.
- Website analytics — retained for 14 months, then aggregated or deleted.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of data we hold (subject to legal retention requirements) by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 14 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we’ll notify customer admins by email and update the “Last updated” date above.
